RE-ELECT ALAN WAPNER
FOR ONTARIO CITY COUNCIL

Alan’s legacy of community service for residents began in 1978, when he first moved to Ontario, and began getting involved locally by volunteering for nonprofit organizations.

Soon after becoming a sworn police officer of the Ontario Police Department, Alan continued becoming a familiar person in the community, always actively volunteering for charity events. Eventually, Alan would retire from the Ontario Police Department as a Sergeant.

In 1994, Alan was elected to the Ontario City Council after having served on the Ontario-Montclair School District Board of Trustees.

Since being elected to the City Council, Alan has been a leading force in numerous accomplishments to improve the quality of life for residents including the Citizens Business Bank Arena, Ontario Soccer Complex, state-of-the-art Police facilities, and the expansion of community programs. In 2017 while serving as President of the Ontario International Airport Authority, Alan negotiated the transfer of Ontario International Airport back to local control.

Alan has been an Ontario resident for over 40 years. He is happily married to his wife, Judi, and together they have five children and three grandchildren. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he received his B.A. and received his Law Degree from Whittier College School of Law.
